Job description
KVM(Kernel-based Virtual Machine)is an open source project supported
by IBM Linux Technology Center. KVM development team is seeking for
software engineers responsible for design, development and test. These
are challenging and high growth opportunities for new initiatives,
talent development and technical leadership growth.
We are hiring open source developers who will work on KVM project
within the open source community. The developer will focus on one of
these three work areas: base KVM, KVM System Management and KVM Cloud
Stack.

Required skills
- Linux system
- C programming
- Virtualization knowledge (such as KVM, VMware, Xen.... )
- Personality that fits with open source community
- Linux kernel skills: network, driver, IO, storage, memory, &etc.;
(for base KVM)
- Higher level language, such as Python, Perl. (for KVM System Management)
- Familiar with large Linux clusters or other large server.(for KVM Cloud Stack)

The following skills or knowledge will be a plus:
- Established community relationships & reputation
- X86 architecture
- Windows OS
- Assembly programming
- Managment application,such as Director,Tivloli,CIM.(for System Management)
- Deployment facilities experience is a plus.(for Cloud Stack)
