Firefox自己的界面就是基于XUL + XBL的，有本地化的软件外观，xul的界面底下是RDF的"数据库" + 部分js的逻辑控制 和
xpcom交互。
所以你要做一个web应用可以借助XUL现成的UI，甚至是一个扩展以获取更高的操作权限。具体google下, :-）
缺点就是Gecko only。
